I've been completely AWOL from posting this past week, and for that I apologize to my loyal followers (hi Mom and Hannah). Housesitting and compiling Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping guides took up a ton of my time and rendered me absolutely exhausted. Waking up at 7am to take the pups for a walk was always a fun way to get my day started, but my body was not prepared for that sleep cycle adjustment considering I typically sleep until at least 10am.

Anyway, now that I've gotten my cliché YouTuber-style apology out of the way, I figured I would make up for lost time with a master list of things I've been considering writing full-length posts about but haven't been able to get around to! Plus my heart has been very full with a cat on my lap regularly, so it's time share the love with some other things that have been making me smile recently.

Lush Bath Bombs

From left-to-right, top-to-bottom: Blackberry Bomb, the Experimenter, Butterbear, Butterball, Shoot for the Stars, Star Light Star Bright.

I for some reason was convinced that bath bombs were not worth the hype. After a self-care inspired online shopping spree I have since learned that I have been missing out for so long! So far I've used the Butterball, the Blackberry Bomb, and Shoot for the Stars. I can't rave about how much fun these are enough...without at least making a separate post.

Tiny Meat Gang Podcast

The TMG Podcast features two of my favorite YouTube comedy personalities, Cody Ko and Noel Miller. I've already written about how much I love Cody's Insanely Chill podcast. Subscribing to their Patreon page to listen to the TMG Podcast has been one of the best decisions I've made as they always deliver #quality #content. I love listening to the podcast while I'm driving, at the gym, or doing social media freelance work.

Cocoa Puffs Cereal

An iconic cereal. 'Nuff said.

My Glasses

I had a stye on my eye for a few days, so I stayed away from my contacts while it healed up. I upgraded to these glasses recently and absolutely love them! I also used to work at a sunglasses boutique so I can rave about the quality of Persol frames ad nauseum.

Earl Grey Tea

As a lover of all things caffeinated, I drink Earl Grey like it's going out of style. I used to be gung-ho on Team Coffee, but when I visited my friend Iris in London and I was forced to drink Earl Grey at afternoon tea, I was persuaded to diversify my caffeinated beverage portfolio.

Sorority Merch

Oh, hey! It's that friend who first introduced me to tea! #sisterhood

I wear my sorority letters almost everyday since I scored so many great long-sleeve tees, tanks, and sweatshirts from chapter merch orders during my time in college. From the gym, to running errands, to lounging around my house I'm always rocking my Tri Delta pride. I also picked up a Tri Delta galaxy metal water bottle because it was pretty and I am weak.

Holiday Shopping and Planning

My hometown pulls out all of the stops for the holidays and so do I! I'm working my way through picking up gifts for the most important people in my life and having a total blast. As a Leo and an only child, gift-giving is one of my greatest talents. I also have a couple of friends coming to visit me for my hometown's big holiday weekend that's jam-packed with my favorite events. I'm so excited to spend this time of year with them and share with them some local goodness that I haven't been able to take part in since I before I graduated from college.

Infinity Scarves

Me from four years ago is really enjoying that scarf! I still enjoy it as much today.

I own three infinity scarves—one that's lightweight for summer, and two that are heavy to keep me warm in the winter. The two heavier ones were hardcore enough to be staple parts of my upstate New York winter wardrobe. I get so much use out of them and always feel extra stylish when I add one to an otherwise blah outfit.

Justice Central

SQUAD GOALS AF

I watched a ton of Justice Central shows while I was housesitting and I am truly obsessed with court television now. The drama is unparalleled!  What I've learned: you can sue people for basically anything, and you're never going to win a case for emotional distress.

Fried Rice

Mine probably doesn't photograph as well as this professional level fried rice, but I bet it tastes even better! Or, at least comparable.

I have mastered a simple and delicious fried rice recipe. More on that in a future post!

American Vandal

I finished this show a while ago and immediately recommended it to all of my friends. Some of them have finally gotten around to watching it and also give it rave reviews! I've been intending to write a whole post about its greatness, but haven't had the time to do it justice. The show is just absolutely hilarious.

Big Mouth

I just started Big Mouth a couple of days ago after enough of my friends told me I had to watch it. I'm a huge John Mulaney fan, but didn't realize how star-studded the whole cast is. I was in stitches watching the first couple of episodes. It's way out there but never misses the mark—a total riot. I'll likely write up a whole post once I finish the season!

Stranger Things

I was late to the game and now I understand the hype. Now I can enjoy the bountiful amount of Stranger Things related quizzes on BuzzFeed! Also, Season 2 Steve Harrington can hit me up any time.

Sleeping Late

Getting to sleep in after waking up early consistently for a week is a blissful experience.

Zac Efron

He's just a constant favorite. Every movie he's ever been involved in has zero flaws. I've been meaning to finally watch Baywatch, so Zefron's been on my mind a little extra lately.
